Tiger
Quick Facts
The tiger is one of the most powerful predators in the forest ecosystem. With its orange coat and dark stripes, it blends perfectly into the tall grass and shadows. Tigers are solitary hunters and rely on stealth and patience to catch prey such as deer or wild boar.
Tigers are apex carnivores that hunt mainly large prey like deer and wild boar. They rely on stealth, using vision and hearing to track animals before ambushing them from close range. A tiger typically attacks from behind and kills with a powerful throat bite. Though fast, it prefers short bursts over long chases and often waits near water sources. Cubs learn hunting skills from their mother over time.
