The Wolf (Canis Lupus) is an amazing animal that is also an ancestor to modern day pet dogs. They have survived along side humans for a long time. Wolves are the planets most widespread large land mammal after us humans and livestock like cattle.

Communication
wolves communicate through sound, body language, scent markings. They also communicate through eye contact. There is contrast and difference in each wolf’s eyes. no wolf’s howl sounds the same. Scent marking are used to define their territiory and to act as a warning sign.
